On Saturday, June 13th, moments after it travels over the Nicholson Bridge at 10am, the Big Boy 4014 will pass by our historic train station/platform turned Township Building!
If you plan to view from another vantage point, please stay back at least 25 feet from the tracks to avoid a steam burn.
Join us on July 11th, 2026 at 10am starting at the township building for a History Hike. We are celebrating America’s 250th with the Lackawanna Co Historical Society, the Daughters of the American Revolution and we’ll welcome our snacks sponsor, our fellow Glenburnians from No. 27 Cafe.
We’ll learn about the history of our area and follow up with a short hike on our Trolley Trail.

Great to be back in Glenburn and see PA grant funding put to work. This time, I helped secure a new public works vehicle that will serve the community for years to come.
